我好开心!但不告诉你为什么!:D

Aiyo, the hongkong drama 《岁月风云》 is at its climax now. It's getting so exciting that my whole family will be glued to the tv at nine pm sharp every weekday w/o fail. Haha! Im gonna find time to watch in advance cos I realised that I'll be missing the last few episodes due to the Calcutta trip.

Now that exams are over, Im getting more and more busy again. Someone once told me that life is without rest. You only rest when you're old; you only stop when you can no longer produce results. So I should have expected the business coming and STOP SLACKING.

Have been rather worried for competition recently. But I've been inspired by different things that happened these few days. For instance, the YOG speaker mentioned, "Olympics isn't just about winning the race, it is about finishing the race." No matter what, I must finish my race with pride. (:

You may say that I'm lack of self-confidence as usual, but to be pragmatic, I know I will not win anything for the competition. So I will not compete with the other contestants; I am going to compete with myself. My desired outcome is to be able to improve from where I was, give in my best and leave no regrets.

Worry? Why worry so much? Isn't concentrating on practices more effective than worrying? That's the way man, Sheila! Moreover, I've also realised that life's more than just achievements. I've found the priorities of my life, have you? ;)

I've officially become LAME KOO. HAHA!

Today's a rather bloggable day. But I'm feeling rather worn out, so i shall blog the interesting things in point form!

- Went to ECP to mug chinese and cycle with Szemin and Chewfei
- Layting joined us after that
- One thing that I still cant get over: An old lady didnt wear her wig (with black hair) properly, so imagine the black wig on top of her white hair... Ok, I know Im really mean, but I seriously can't stop laughing about it.
- Couldn't mug effectively cos it was too noisy
- Had Subway for lunch! <3 Tried the Red Wine Vaginiette (dont know how to spell) sauce for the first time, but don't really like it.
- Szemin came back from the toilet w/o Chewfei. Layting wanted to say Chewfei is shibai, but she summarized everything into two words; she called Chewfei 'SHIFEI' (SHIbai de SHI and chewFEI de FEI). LOL!
- Chewfei commented that she'd like to try putting a cheeseburger in her drawer and see what will happen to it after twenty years. So we've decided to buy her a cheeseburger for her b'day present (she's keeping it in good condition for twenty years anyway!). HAHA! Szemin's shall be Subway sandwich, Layting's shall be KFC burger while mine's Mosburger burger. Ok that's lame sia.
- Cycled to Changi Airport.
- By then, Chewfei's hair was standing on her head. Layting and I thought it was cool, so we decided to take photos of her with that cool hairstyle. Feeling shy, Chewfei tried to escape from us. So we ended up like paparazzis, chasing after her just to take photos.
- While chasing after Chewfei, we saw a plane that was going to fly. Amazed as usual, Layting tried to take a photo while cycling. She was so engrossed that she didnt see her way and fell into the drain.
- Saddistic Chewfei commented that it's our retribution for being paparazzis.
- After rescueing Layting, I followed behind Chewfei discretely and took a photo of her successfully! (looks like i've potential in being a paparazzi)
- Then it was going to rain. Szemin and I played the Chinese word game while we cycle back.
- Unfortunately, it rained on our way back. All of us got drenched.
- Couldn't control our walking speed after long hours of cycling.
- Went to the Bowling Centre's toilet to clean ourselves.
- Played 'Photo Hunt/Spot the difference'. (WE ALMOST BROKE THE RECORD!!!)
- Had a long walk frm ECP to the parkway parade food centre.
- Realised that Chewfei is really lousy at umbrellas. HAHA! Cos she kept complaining that the umbrella kept hitting her head when I held the umbrella (she's trying to imply that im short you see) Eventually, the genius discovered that the problem didnt lie on us. We kept hitting our own heads because we didnt extend the handle to the maximum. -.- So you can imagine how stupid we were, trying to stretch our arms as high as possible in order not to hit our heads.
- Had Char Kway Teow, (what's the rice called?), Hokkien Prawn Mee, Popiah and beancurd. I like the char kway teow and hokkien prawn mee! as well as the mango smoothie! HAHA!
- Took 966 home, INCREDIBLY. I thought I'll never ever take that bus home from Parkway Parade. (cos it's SOOOOOOOOO LOOOOOOOOOONG, that I slept three times previously)
- Layting, Szemin and I tried to convince Chewfei to join HCCO. LAME PHANG, JOIN HCCO! WE'LL HAUNT YOU TILL YOU JOIN! HAHA!
- All of us have officially become LAME cos of my LAME joke. HAHA!

Is there anything that can induce my feelings? I've been too unsentimental.

I think I've watched too much Korean dramas on cable over this weekend. So much that Im beginning to go crazy over those charming Korean actors. HAHAHA! I think Im really becoming crazy. I suddenly feel like watching an extremely depressing Korean movie which will make me cry like I just fell out of love. HAHA! OKAY, TOO MUCH OF KOREAN DRAMAS SHEILA!

On a random note, HAPPY DEEPAVALI! :D

My worry seems to be never ending. First was the success of NYCO concert, then was term 3 block test which was right after concert, followed on by the horrifying EOYs and the overall results.

Those days after exams, when I had to await for my results, was truly pschologically tormenting. After all, I've never been this worried over an exam in my entire life. I was so worried that I had panic attack almost everyday during the exam period. I'd have diarrhoea when it got worse. In other words, diarrhoea was like a frequent patron of mine during the exam period. Knowing that I have a high chance of being promoted, Im extremely happy. Just hope I didn't calculate my overall marks wrongly. :x However, I realised that my worry hasn't come to an end.

I realised my days are numbered. Guess what? I'm flying next next Saturday. Exactly two more weeks to go. I really cant afford to play anymore. I need to get into the right mental state. Frankly speaking, sometimes I do regret choosing Calcutta as my global classroom programme. Not because I dislike doing CIP, but Calcutta is one of the longest programme. Furthermore, it's so near competition. However, I really look forward to it whenever we have our Calcutta meetings, where we're briefed on the activities we're going to do. Sigh, Im in such a state of dilemma.

No matter how much I look forward to it, the anticipation still defeats my worry. During the EOYs period, I felt very detached from my erhu when I attempted to play it (perhaps it's due to the lack of prac?). It's like... I am myself while my erhu is just another object, we're not a single body. OMG, why am I explaining it in such a weird way. Haha well, in short, I've lost the ability to control my skills, e.g. the kind of sound that I want. Fortunately, I've recovered from that after exams. Then again, I'm afraid that I'll lose the feeling again after those 2 weeks. It's really scary cos I'll have to start all over again to search for the feeling, before I can go deeper.

This is really worrying when there is not much time left. It's even more worrying when you cant achieve what you want during practices now. Perhaps Im just not talented enough. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I can see the panic attack approaching! I hate that feeling! So tormenting! ):

Now, Im feeling so uncertain that I cant put myself to say 'I can do it' optimistically. Argh, 死就死吧,就算死也要咬紧牙根走完这条路。 (oh, i suddenly thought of a chinese idiom) “柳暗花明又一村”,走完这条死路又是一条活路!HAHAHAHAHA! NOW IM TOTALLY AMUSED BY MYSELF! I bet my chinese teachers will kill me if they see how I twisted the idiom. HAHAHA! Alright, I'm gonna continue my journey on 死路. BYE.

it's never-ending.

i hope the hwachong uniform that im buying will come to use. seriously, i've a very bad feeling. no point worrying now cos i cant change the fact? yup, but how to stop myself frm worrying? the feeling just comes naturally. furthermore, my right eyelid has been twitching these few days. (fyi, twitching of right eyelid represents ominousness)ahhhhhhhhhhh chinese o_o

perhaps i shd start planning for my future if i cant make it to hc. or rather, i shd start preparing myself mentally lest i break down upon hearing the bad news.
